Along the River – Part 3

A bit of history for you. The Chinese were pretty prominent in the Turon area during the gold rush. They built a water run that was a couple of kilometres long to process the gold. What is left is the remnant of that stone wall, built by hand.

Pumpkin Bend

Pretty impressive, considering that they used a spoonful of water as a level. Notice that if they couldn’t shift a boulder, they just built over it!
