A couple of stinking hot days and I’ve only had one dip this year, so time to take a day off and enjoy a swim at one of my favourite places, Wattamolla.

Green, salty water
I dive beneath
Into water warm
Burst the surface
Into sun I float
Gazing up at
Swaying gums
My blues washed away
On this lifegiving day
