Mogo Creek itself just seemed to be a farm with a shed.
And this interesting ‘old’ building. It’s built in the old colonial style, but we weren’t sure of its age as it seemed well maintained, had power lines, and a Hills Hoist out the back.
We went exploring on the Central Coast the other day, taking the road from Somersby, through Kulnura and Bucketty, and into Yengo National Park. We drove along the remnants of the Old Great North Road, convict built in the 1820s and 30s, to a locality called Mogo Creek. The creek was a mere trickle where we picnicked, but there were some beautiful trees.
