Banqueting
It was my cousin’s engagement party on the weekend. The happy couple celebrated at Golden Century, in Chinatown. I’ve never been there before but from the quality of the 10 dish banquet I can say that it’s a good place to go if you want good Cantonese food. The pipis were very good, and so were the lamb and the scallops.
Love Past
I accidently came across this beautiful post from blogger Tea and Cookies, about love found, love lost, and fond memories. It resonated with me strongly, given the happenings in my life over the past fortnight. So it is that love comes and goes, but life is always there to be lived – and there are always little joys to be found in the sorrow.

A Weekend Walk…
It’s not yet lunch time but…
Food Porn
Food porn – when the photography makes food look much better than it really tastes. Case in point, high tea last Saturday at the Stamford in North Ryde (it was my cousin’s engagement party).
It was a decent high tea, but these photos make it look absolutely mouth-watering.
Food photography isn’t too difficult after all!
Feast for the senses
While reading the latest Real Living magazine I found some fantastic design blogs that has really satisfied my appetite for peeking into other people’s living rooms:
designsponge.blogspot.com
decor8.blogspot.com
ohjoy.blogs.com
Through these I discovered the ultimate food and travel blog called nordljus, with food and travel pics that are so gorgeous they have to be seen to be believed. Like this one of Perry Jelly and Summer Berries with Elderflower Mousse

Magnificent.
